1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the Three Gems app ("App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Three Gems is a gratitude journaling application that allows you to:

• Create daily journal entries ("Gems") with text, images, and audio recordings
• Organize entries using tags
• Track your journaling progress with calendar and statistics
• Connect with friends and share selected entries
• React to friends' shared entries with emoji reactions

3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

• You create an account by providing your name
• Each account is unique and tied to your device
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

3.2 Account Requirements

• You must provide accurate information when creating your account
• One person may not maintain multiple accounts

4. User Content

4.1 Your Content

• You retain ownership of all content you create in the App (text, images, audio)
• You are solely responsible for the content you create and share
• You must not create or share content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights

4.2 Content Storage

• Your personal entries are stored locally on your device
• When you share entries with friends, that content is stored online to enable sharing
• You can delete your content at any time

4.3 Sharing with Friends

• You control which entries you share with specific friends
• Shared entries can be viewed and reacted to by your friends
• You can revoke sharing access at any time

5. Friend Connections

5.1 Adding Friends

• You can invite others to connect via invitation links
• Friend invitations can be accepted or declined
• Both parties must agree to establish a friendship connection

5.2 Removing Friends

• You can remove friends at any time
• When you remove a friend, they will no longer have access to entries you previously shared with them
• You will no longer have access to entries they shared with you

6. Premium Subscription

6.1 Subscription Features

• The App offers premium features through a paid subscription
• Subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store
• Subscription terms and pricing are displayed in the App

6.2 Payment and Renewal

• Payment is charged through your Apple ID account
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your App Store account settings

6.3 Refunds

• Refund requests are handled according to Apple's App Store refund policy

7. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Upload content that infringes on others' intellectual property rights
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users
• Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without permission
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the App's source code
• Use the App to transmit spam or malicious content

8. Notifications

• The App may send you push notifications about your journaling reminders
• You can control notification settings within the App
• We may send service-related notifications regarding your account

9. Termination

• You may stop using the App at any time
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for violations of these Terms
• Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease

10. Changes to Terms

• We may modify these Terms at any time
• Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms
• Material changes will be notified through the App

11. Disclaimers

• The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
• We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted
• We are not responsible for data loss; you should maintain backups of important content

12. Limitation of Liability

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the subscription (if any) in the past 12 months
